Learning Outcomes

Participants will be able to:

  • Describe the anatomy and physiology relevant to PEG feeding.

  • Identify indications, contraindications, and PEG tube types.

  • Demonstrate correct techniques for PEG feeding and medication administration.

  • Recognise and respond to common PEG complications.

  • Document care accurately and communicate effectively with families and the MDT.
