Advanced Paediatric Life Support - Recert - 1 Day
APLS is an advanced course, and we strongly recommend that candidates have already acquired basic paediatric life support skills on a course such as PLS (pILS or local equivalent) before applying for and attending an APLS course. International graduates may also benefit from undertaking PLS prior to APLS to become familiar with simulation methodology.

​Learning Outcomes
An ALSG approved 1-day recertification course can be undertaken within six months of expiry or you will need to repeat the full ALSG APLS course.​
Assessment takes place continuously throughout the course. If you are successful, APLS certification is then valid for four years and includes access to the AL:SG VLE and Paediatric e-Library
The course incorporates clinical simulations covering the following:
