The First Aid at Work programmes are our most comprehensive and thorough courses designed for dealing with accidents and emergencies in the workplace., Outdoors and at Sporting Events, Including Equestrian First Aid
Particularly relevant to industries that may be considered higher risk environments, this 3-day course is aimed at providing candidates with the skills needed to respond quickly and effectively to any work or Leisure place where incidents may occur.

​Learning Outcomes
​
On completion of Unit 1, delegates will be able to:

Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider
-
Be able to assess an incident
-
Be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty, a casualty who is choking and a casualty with external bleeding-including how to use CPR and AEDs
-
Know how to provide first aid to a casualty who is in shock and to a casualty with minor injuries
On completion of Unit 2, delegates will be able to:

Be able to conduct a secondary survey
-
Be able to provide first aid to a casualty with injuries to bones, joints, muscles, as well as injuries to the head, spine and chest

Know how to provide first aid to a casualty with burns and scalds or sudden poisoning
-
Know how to provide first aid to a casualty with an eye injury
-
Know how to provide first aid to a casualty with anaphylaxis and a casualty with a suspected major illness e.g. a heart attack, stroke or seizure.
