Our Story:
Heart Safe was built on a simple belief: clinical education should do more than just meet a training compliance requirement — it should also build real capability and confidence when it matters.
We began in 2015, with a focus on simple practical life-saving education, helping people in our local community to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to respond effectively in an emergency. As Heart Safe has grown, so has our understanding of what organisations and professionals actually need from education: credible clinical expertise, engaging learning, measurable outcomes and training that translates into clinical practice.
11 years later, Heart Safe brings together experienced clinical educators and subject specialists to provide high-quality CPD and clinical education for individuals and organisations alike. We built our portfolio from life support and trauma education to much more advanced clinical skills and bespoke organisational programmes,
Our approach is centred on one question: What capability needs to exist when it really matters, both in the individual and in the wider workforce?
Our work is underpinned by our unique and trademarked 'Clinical Education Capability Framework', ensuring that education is thoughtfully designed, expertly delivered, evaluated and continually developed.
We are proud to have achieved CPD Standards Office Centre of Excellence Dual Accreditation, reflecting our ongoing commitment to quality, professional development and meaningful learning outcomes.
But our story isn't just about education. Through our wider social-impact work, Heart Safe also supports the work of Heart Safe Community Academy CIO, helping extend access to free life-saving education and opportunities beyond the organisations and professionals we directly serve. Heart Safe and its clinical founder are actively involved in supporting the implementation of trauma education and care within Ukraine since 2023 and are continuing to build ongoing clinical education partnerships with other international healthcare academies and providers worldwide.
Because for us, successful education isn't simply about completing a course and it ends there. It's about creating capability and professional learning that lasts — and ultimately helping people in our community to be better prepared for when it matters most.

Tracey brings more than four decades of healthcare experience to Heart Safe, including senior clinical leadership of Resuscitation services and clinical education within major NHS teaching trusts at Director level. Her career has centered on developing clinicians, leading complex clinical services and translating evidence into practical education that works in the real world. Today, she leads Heart Safes' clinical education strategy, faculty development, and organisational partnerships portfolios, with a particular focus on creating dynamic and meaningful clinical education that builds knowledge, capability and clinical confidence, within individuals and wider multidisciplinary workforces alike.
Tracey Clatworthy Clinical Director
Owen leads compliance, governance and organisational assurance at Heart Safe Consultancy & Training Ltd, bringing extensive experience in health & safety, security, information governance and regulatory compliance. Working alongside Heart Safes clinical and operational colleagues as part of the senior leadership team, Owen provides important non-clinical perspectives on organisational governance and accountability. His focus is on ensuring that Heart Safe operates responsibly, protects its people and clients, and maintains the professional standards expected of a trusted education and consultancy partner.
